"Cable management" is a 2d puzzle game that challenges you to connect input cables to output ones to close the circuit. However, this won't be as easy as matching colors, as some inputs may have to be used more than once and some outputs will not have corresponding inputs, so you will have to use some of the patented "signal processing" gadgets to complete the levels.

Gadgets include:

* Nanotechnology Opposite Transistors

* Optimal Reverberators

* Automatic Nanocarbon Diminishers

HOW TO PLAY

Tutorials are included. They explain the basic mechanics and the gadgets, and I recomend not to skip it on first play.

Only mouse controls are needed to play the game.

Use mouse to (left) click pins and drag cables to complete circuits from input pins to output pins and from and to gadgets pins. Click in the middle of cable to remove them.

ESC key to pause and reset/return to menu.

Install instructions

You can play on browser at https://jynus.itch.io/cable-management  if you do not desire to install anything. HTML5 was a primary platform.

The windows export may work slightly more optimized. The zip contains 2 files, the executable and the resources. Both have to be extracted on the same directory before running it (it cannot be run directly from the zip).

Pretty fun game. The time limit scared me at first but after playing with it i felt like it still gave me enough breathing room

Thank you for playing! Some people complained about the time limitations, but it was added to add some urgency and thinking need rather than trial and error.

I was thinking of adding two game modes (in addition to more levels)- "casual", with no time limit and focused on learning, and "pressure", with the regular timer. Maybe even provide more time by default and increase the timer speed on bad connections. What would you think about that?

Those both sound to me like good ideas
